Situated west of Houston, Hilshire Village is bordered to the west by Spring Valley Village. Spring Branch East outlines Hilshire Village to the north and east. Interstate 10 defines the city’s southern border.

Further south of Hilshire Village is Hunters Creek Village. Piney Point Village, Bunker Hill Village, and Hedwig Village are all southwest of the city. Specifically, Hilshire Village is located 10 miles west of Downtown Houston, and the city is also situated 18 miles northeast of Sugar Land.
