Neighboring residential areas include Galivan, Laguna Hills, and Mission Veijo to the northwest. Las Flores and Coto De Caza are northeast of Ladera Ranch. Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park is east of the city, and Rancho Mission Viejo is southeast of Ladera Ranch. San Juan Capistrano is southwest, as is Laguna Niguel.
