Lido Sands is a Newport Beach gated community that is within walking distance of the best beaches in the city. This small neighborhood was established in the late 1950s. It is known for its beach style homes and the celebration of the California lifestyle of sophistication, sun, and success. There are only approximately 82 homes in this community, making this place very exclusive.

Lido Sands has protection against unwanted traffic and guests, which is perfect for individuals who want their families to live in a safe area. It has different beach boutiques, parks, restaurants, inns, shopping malls, and more. People who live in this community spend most of their time outdoors, whether they are on the beach, doing watersports, walking in the park, or just out on the town. Lido Sands is near some great entertainment centers that are family-friendly. This area is also near stellar public and private schools.

Lido Sands students who attend Ensign become more responsible individuals because they learn how to juggle their school work with their extracurricular activities. Also, school officials have put in place a policy that requires students to maintain a certain GPA in order for them to be able participate in clubs and sports teams. Students can sign up for clubs such as robotics, choir, theater, and more. They also can learn languages such as Spanish or French.

Newport Harbor High School at 600 Irvine Ave: Newport Harbor High School is one of the most prestigious public high schools near Lido Sands. This high school enrolls students in grades ninth through twelfth. Newport Harbor is a large school that has more than 2,300 students. It is considered a Baccalaureate World School and offers great career-related programs that help point student in the right direction. Newport Harbor High School provides many different college-preparatory courses such as the Advanced Placement program that challenges students.
PRIVATE
Pacifica Christian High School at 883 West 15th Street: Pacifica Christian School is a faith-based school that teaches Christian values as well as subjects such as reading, writing, history, mathematics, science, and technology. Students are able to read religious and secular texts. This school is a college-preparatory institution that prepares students for their future college years. Students grow as scholars and are able to grow in their skills and talents and build meaningful relationships with their peers. Carden Hall at 1541 Monrovia Avenue: Carden Hall is a mall private school that has about 400 students enrolled. It is a faith-based school and serves students in grades kindergarten through eighth.
