Spring is an unincorporated area located north of Downtown Houston in Harris County, Texas.

Home to nearly 60,000 people, the suburb lets residents experience the rural feel while enjoying the benefits and luxuries of metropolitan city life.

Spring is made up of several master-planned, gated, and established communities and subdivisions. The area has a variety of housing and architectural styles – from traditional and ranch-style homes to luxurious Mediterranean styles and new construction two-story homes.

The town’s ideal location near major roads and highways makes it easy for residents to go to key employment hubs and cultural districts.

Homes in Spring also enjoy convenient access to parks, family-friendly entertainment venues, upscale shopping centers, and popular golf courses. The suburb’s must-visit places include the Spring Trails Preserve, the Spring Creek Greenway, and the Cypress Golf Club.

The town is served by award-winning schools under the jurisdiction of the Spring, Klein, and Conroe independent school districts.

Summers can get quite hot and humid in Spring, with average high temperatures of 94°F. The area is less temperate compared to other tourist destinations in Texas. There is a fair chance of precipitation in the city for about half of the year.

Hurricanes usually hit the city every year between June and November, but the most active months for storms are August, September and October. SCHOOLS IN Spring

The majority of homes in Spring are served by the Spring Independent School District. Two other independent districts – the Klein and Conroe – also serve homes in the suburb.
