Meyerland is a family-centric, residential neighborhood in Harris County, Southwest Houston. Home to nearly 20,000 people, Meyerland lets residents experience the urban-suburban feel while also enjoying the benefits of affordable homes, excellent schools, and easy access to key business hubs and premium retail and dining establishments.

Many of the homes in the neighborhood date back to the 1960s and have been renovated to include modern features. Architectural styles and designs range from traditional, mid-century modern, and ranch-style to contemporary with French and Mediterranean influences. There are also a number of two and three-story mansions in the area.

The small-town vibes and a tight-knit community make Meyerland one of the best Houston neighborhoods for families. Students here learn from IB World Schools and National Blue Ribbon Schools under the Houston Independent School District.

The neighborhood’s proximity to major roads makes it convenient for residents to head to upscale retail and dining options at The Galleria and the Meyerland Plaza. It is also home to beautiful parks perfect for family bondings and outdoor recreation.
