Bayside Cove Neighborhood Guide

Bayside Cove is also known as “The Cove.” It is a gated community surrounded by coastal retail shops, decadent restaurants, and other entertainment activities. You will always be able to find the perfect place for you to grab a bite to eat. If you want to eat at an American restaurant with featured art and jazz music, Bayside Restaurant is the dining place for you.

If you have a sweet tooth and in desperate need for some baked goods, Dad’s Donut & Bakery Shop become your favorite spot for ice cream bars, donuts, and cakes. Balboa Beach Company and Fresh Produce are small clothing stores that sell coastal clothing. Fashion Island is near The Cove. It is a large open shopping center that has high-end as well as affordable men and women retail stores. Also, Bayside Cove has an amazing public school district and several stellar private schools in the area.

This small bayside area has some of the most wealthiest residents in Newport Beach. The people value elegance and convenience. The culture of Bayside Cove is centered around small families and individuals enjoying the great outdoors, working hard, and living a life of luxury. Coastal living allows the residents to appreciate the wonderful waterfront scenery and breathtaking architecture of the homes in the Bayside Cove area. When the people are not working, they are spending time with their families, giving back to the community, and enjoy life in Newport Beach. They have access to so many different retail and entertainment options.

Bayside Cove students are zoned to enroll in schools within the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. Both students in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa can attend these schools. Although this school district is small with only 22,000 students and 32 schools, school officials, teachers, and staff all work together to make sure that each department is serving the students in the best way possible.

Newport-Mesa has schools from kindergarten all the way up to the twelfth grade. The teachers take responsibility for aiding the students in finding their maximum potentials. The public and private schools have a wide variety of sports teams, after school clubs and activities, and enrichment programs because the students deserve options. There are Bayside Cove private schools outside of the public school system in the surrounding area that strive to help build positive characteristics and skills in the students and help them think outside of the box.

The Bayside Cove community has mainly a low rise condominiums in a gated and guarded area. As the area is located off the Pacific Coast Highway and close to the coast line, many of these condos are facing the bay front. This separation of these homes allow individuals and families to feel more comfortable and safe without worrying about outside crime or violence coming in.

Since most of the residential buildings are just condos, there are no apartments, single-family homes, or townhomes in Bayside Cove. As neighborhood is very quaint, there are only 58 units in the complex. Residents in this area are in walking distance of Balboa Island as well as cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. The Cove is a great place to live because there are so many upscale community amenities. These amenities include a swimming pool, a private sandy beach, a luxurious spa, and easy access to boat docks.
